Stepping into Corte Pomponazza, we were greeted by a charming apartment that exuded historical charm. The captivating view of Lake Inferiore from the bedroom and kitchen was a delightful surprise, adding a serene touch to our stay. The hosts' warm welcome with prosecco and Mantuan biscuits truly made us feel special and cherished.The location couldn't have been more perfect, mere steps away from the majestic Ducale Palazzo and other main sights of Mantova. Our host's recommendations for dining spots were spot-on, enhancing our culinary journey. The scent of jasmine in the courtyard was a delightful sensory experience that added to the overall charm of the place.The spacious and immaculately clean apartment felt like a home away from home, with thoughtful touches like fresh milk and traditional Mantua cookies awaiting us. The owner's hospitality shone through as he took the time to introduce us to the intricacies of the apartment and even shared tips on crafting the perfect espresso. The convenient parking in the closed yard was a definite plus, given the proximity to the bustling main piazzas. The attentive hosts, picturesque surroundings, and convenient location made it a memorable experience in the magical town of Mantua. I wholeheartedly recommend Corte Pomponazza for a truly authentic Italian getaway.
